The All Covered CSC is the central point for all URGENT issues facing our clients. The CSC is staffed with the highest concentration of experienced technology professionals within the company. The mission of the CSC is to provide rapid resolution to mission critical issues facing our clients using a remote and telephone support model. Working within the CSC I have supported some of the latest technologies. These include VMWare, Microsoft Exchange 2003, 2007 and 2010, Windows Server 2000, 2003, and 2008. Configuration and support of Postini Email Protection System. Configuration and support of SonicWall firewalls.  End user support of Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7. I was assigned as lead engineer for a rapidly growing oil and gas exploration company. Supporting core business operations based on Microsoft products including Windows Server 2000/2003Standard Edition platform including Active Directory, SQL 2000, 2005, and Exchange Server 2003. Maintaining and supporting various connected resources through use of Cisco PIX 501 Firewalls, Cisco VPN client, and Microsoft Terminal Server Services. Maintenance and support SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) operations from end to end. Installation and support of cellular AirCards. Providing personal support to staff using Windows XP Professional, OfficeXP, 2003, and 2007 in the office and in the field. Server side and end user support of industry specific software: WellView, CygNet Studio SCADA suite, Win-Marion’s WinCCU and WebCCU SCADA products, Ogre, Genesis, Fekete, Petra geology software, Excalibur accounting software, and Docvue. Provide conversion assistance and end user support to Avnet staff though out the conversion from the existing Oracle database to a new database system. After conversion, continued on as a contract Data Integrity Specialist. Primary duties were setting up Sun Microsystems contracts within the pricing engine software and trouble shooting issues found within the new system.

Systems Engineer

Analyze Center’s information needs and deliver technological solutions to meet those needs. Develop strategic

technology pathways to insure security of patient health records, providing compliancy with all HIPPA regulations.

Fiscal planning and procurement of Center’s IT budget. Develop and enforce Center policy and procedures.

Supervise Helpdesk staff including recruitment, assignment and monitoring of daily work, performance reviews, and

recommendations. Provide escalated technical support to Helpdesk. Implement and maintain all network connected

devices. Maintain eight Novell Netware 5 and 6 servers, GWAVA, Linux server, IBM AIX 5.2 L on an RS-6000,

and Windows 2003 Server. Provide connectivity of the AS/400 system from all Center sites using Frame Relay,

Novell BorderManager 3.6 and Cisco VPN technologies on 2600 and 1700 series routers. Maintain secure Internet

connectivity for VPN and corporate GroupWise E-mail system connected to the internet using SMTP & POP3.
