Motivational Speaking Engagements

Bob Avritt, Motivational Speaker

I am availible for motivational speaking engagements for:

    • Type 2 Diabetes support groups
    • Weight loss support groups
    • Employer led fitness programs
    • Smoking cessation support groups
    • Any group interested in an inspirational success story

bring hope, encouragement, and inspiration to those who are going through the struggles of weight loss, Type 2 Diabetes, and fitness.

I am a very down to earth speaker who leads people to inspiration through the telling of my own struggles, past and current. I openly share of myself, which enables me to make direct that necessary connection to inspire others to live their own adventure"I have walked the walk." I provide information, techniques, and references.

Perhaps the biggest benefit I offer is personal one on one continuing support for those whom need that personal touch. I also offer a support forum on the internet for those who feel they would benefit from group encouragement and support.

My message can be tailored to people struggling with many different challenges.

To discuss your needs, please email me at bob@bobavritt.com

Here's what some folks have had to say:

“Bob is one of the most passionate people I've met about raising diabetes awareness. He has turned his life around with diet and exercise and wants to show everyone else how to do it too.” October 21, 2008
Mike Busch , Affiliate Professor , Regis University

“Bob has an extraordinary presence, a wonderful speaking voice, and an inspiring story to tell about his experience with Type II Diabetes. His positive message empowers listeners to feel that they, too, can make changes in their lives and transform circumstances for the better good of all people.” October 17, 2008
Caroline Marwitz , Senior Associate Editor , Penton Media

“Gathered around the campfire at BikeJournal.com Reunion06, Bob told his life story. He was heavyweight, relatives had severe diabetes complications, he was diagnosed with diabetes. He decided to exercise by riding his bicycle. His friends and FAMILY kept trying to discourage him, telling him it was too dangerous to ride bicycle on the road. He is considering writing a book about his lifestyle change, and the title will be his response to the too dangerous remark. "I would rather die on the road than as a couch potato" (or was it "on the couch").” October 15, 2008
Mike Schwab , Info. Sys. Spec. 2 Opt. S. , State of Illinois

“Bob Avritt has a remarkable and compelling life story and the talent to tell it in a way that brings out the best within ourselves. Bob is a quiet leader in how he inspires trust and confidence. He uses that leadership to help each of us re-evaluate our own potentials. He inspires as he tells about his own struggles and his subsequent victories. Those of us who know him and trust him have benefited from his motivational life story. He's walked the walk.” October 15, 2008
